Mummy's little helper

He is helping me to wash the vegetable for salad while i cook spaghetti.At least something to keep him occupied while i cook. Papa working late so dinner is for aden and me.not making own pasta sauce this time coz not enough time so will make do with the instant kind. Anyway it taste good still and the best thing, my little brat ate his vege too because he prepared it.

7 month old bobby's facial hair is very black and messy. did a remaining 1 inch for easy maintainers. he is extremely good to work on. heard from his owner, bobby is a companion to his 80 years old mother who is rather senile and deaf, couldn't hear even when the car horn at her while crossing the road .I'm sure he bring lots of joy to their family. I do lots of shih tzu most of them are rather hyper at this age but not bobby. he temperaments just nice for seniors at home. Ahem.. no offense Milo you need to learn from bobby and also stop bullying boy boy also.

Hubby made happy meal out of play doh to amuse aden. There are fries, burger,coke, nuggets and a sundae! You are so clever baby, how about setting up a pasar malam stall to earn extra income.really thought you bought macdonald for us when our son came running to me asking"mummy, you want to eat happy meal?" Great job darling, i don't think i can make it as nice as you.

Her makeover shots is in the past grooming pics. kiki is the proud one whereas bobo is super friendly. i really like to groom cross breed because there is no standard breed cut and that leave me to do creative styles for them if the owners permit. kiki really hates her photo taken so i took a video to show you guys how much she dislike it. she is so hilarious,lah!

My DEAR hubby is fixing my video problem soon so hang on there.

Busy week for me., one more client before i start packing for trip.
I started taking some funny videos of the dogs i have groomed,yet to upload because silly me need help to rotate it first.hope to put up more photos before i go for holiday but really irritating,don't know why the uploading taking so long......

Momo grow so fast! she is huge now. she doesn't need grooming much so whenever i'm there to groom the other dog, girl girl the poodle cross, i will just do Momo nails and paw pads.

next time if you are smitten by that cute little puppy u see at some construction side,u better know it will grow to Momo size.

Aden recovered from his viral fever after 5 days finally so yippee he is back to school and i can return to work. I will be flying off to shanghai next Thursday with Janice, so looking forward to it. Usually before a trip my appointments for grooming is very tight. Luckily i pre book for my customers before and after my vacation so as to avoid disappointment and delay. However there will be a few surprise booking by new clients. My groomer friend is going for a operation so she have refer me to her clients since she need to rest. Unfortunately, i am also fully booked this 2 weeks too so hopefully they can wait till i get back. Feng is a really nice girl and it's pretty hard to find someone especially from the same trade with the same mentality as me. hope she get well soon.

not easy to be a mum

Aden is taking a nap, so now thought i blog a bit. He is having this on off fever since 3 days ago. seen the doctor, taken his medicine but still the same. Now i am making some chinese medicine(leng yang). Have to postpone my grooming appointment, feel so bad. there is no other alternative when such things happen. I really sympathize those full time working mum who have no mothers or maid to help them out when the child fall sick and can't go to childcare. Not all employer will be happy if she take leave to attend to her child. For a woman, once she choose to have kids,it's her responsibilities.

When aden turn 2 mths, i decide to become a stay home mum since i can't find anyone to babysit him. so i put my work on hold till he turn 18 mths when he can go to childcare centre. Some people thinks that stay at home to look after baby is easy because that is their thinking . Only a stay at home mother can truly understand. there is never ending of laundry and housework chores to do on top of caring for a difficult baby. Cooking three meals for the baby and yourself seems rushing. at times i was so hungry i ate his porridge. Bring my 2 dogs daily with the baby in the pram is an uphill task. need to push the pram up and down the slope to get to the park. Couple of times have to run away from stray dogs following us.

My hubby also work alot of overtime to support us. so most of the time it just aden and me at home. at that time we don't own a car yet so when we do groceries,the pram will carry our stuff and baby in arms.

i envy woman who have time to take long shower,treatment their hair,do their nails while caring for baby. how they do it? I will be so happy if aden would let me eat in peace, or leave him on his own so i can go shower/poop. noo.. i have to let him see me while doing all these, even cooking in the kitchen. Thanks to him, now i can be fast in everything i do. Bath under 5 min, Poop 2 min, cook 3 dishes in 1hr. Oh! did i forget to mention he is breastfed.so he is stuck on me all the time. Until now he still sleep between us.
Since he was born, not a single day go by, i am not with him. There are mother who are able to go for short trip without their babies but not me. He is too attach to me so won't allow. Just have to wait till he is a little older..maybe

Nowadays my daily routine is

9am: make breakfast,get aden ready for school
10am: go school
11am: go market downstairs,plan for dinner.
12pm walk the dog,pack my bag for house call grooming
5pm: reach home, bath and cook dinner.
6pm: fetch aden,eat dinner together.
8pm:bring dog down with aden.
9pm:watch tv,play toys,read together.
10pm on ward fold laundry,wash dishes depending what time he sleep.
12am to 9am: he wakes up 4 times every night or every hr if he is sick
