Home cook meal for me from this doggy owner. I have to postpone his grooming but the owner already cook dinner for me so she sent it to me. The portion is huge enough to feed an entire family. I can't thank her enough seriously and our conversation always goes like this

Me : oh thanks for the gifts.(or food)

Her : i should be the one to thank you for willing to groom my dog, i know he is very naughty.

Me : don't say that. Okay i treat you lunch next time, ok?

Her : no no i should treat you

Me : pls don' like that, i very paiseh(uneasy) that i always getting from you. thank you so much Her : no need no need, i am very grateful to you.Thank you leh..

This thank you exchange will go on for the next 5 to10 min every time...rather funny actually.

I feel guilty about her dog because i was on maternity leave few years back and couldn't groom him so she sent it to a shop. He was badly injured before the groomer could start grooming him. Came home with blood clot in his eye and lost 3 teeth. After that he was never the same.he became aggressive when comes to grooming and got rejected by other shops. I don't know what happened while he was there but he never gave me any problems before.

Told his owner to let me try grooming him when i got back to work because i know at least he is familiar with me. she was afraid he might bite me now that he had been traumatized. i don't have the heart to reject him coz he is very loving to me actually. Give him time to built that trust.

I don't deny he is tough but end of the day, the job is done and a good work out for the 2 of us.

KiKi : Mummy was late wishing you guys but anyway hope you have fun during this festive season like me. We went to east coast park for bbq and hung out at uncle mert's place. Everyone enjoyed my company! They said,: "wow, kiki is such a good girl."

Pepsi is still a puppy.very new to grooming therefore put up a struggle with me.got to have lots of patience especially dealing with puppy, just try to make them enjoy the process.

You don't want to make them fearful of grooming next time.Must remember to praise them for their good behaviour too.

Piju and Girl

Piju and Girl Girl are getting on with age, both are blind and deaf. Because they are not aware of the surrounding.. i have to stroke them often while grooming so as to calm them. Heard that girl girl is like 18years old. Really salute the owner for her love and patience because not easy caring for an old dog. Remember "Pet is for a lifetime". I have watch them grow old since i started grooming them 5 years back.

My heart ache everytime i see my client in bad shape due to old age but i believe it's part of life. Most importantly,they led a good life and are well taken care that matter most.

after This is Biscuit, there are a couple of bald spot at his leg cause by his chewing so i didn't go too short there. I have not been grooming poodle for a while and this is a good chance. They do require more work than other breeds but i always look forward to the finishing touch.

I get a job satisfaction seeing a completed look.

I am not a show groomer so my style is a little different.seeing that smile on the owner's face really makes my day.Owner is happy, i also happy.

My piority is safety /comfort of my client(the doggies)before anything else. I believe dog grooming should be humane..not mass production...it is the quality of the job not the quantity.

I will probably get fired for working in a salon coz i am no Edward Scissorshand. I am too.. slow.....

afterThis is Braveheart, he is a 5 mths old red poodle. The owner didn't like the new look..she prefer his old look. I thought he look better now. Sometimes they need a while to get use to it. He is a real sweet heart though.

The Rainbow Bridge

This shot looks like a passport photo.haha.. girl girl's owner wants her fur shave off except the facial hair. Poor girl have chronic skin problem. She is 8 years old now. she is so well behave during grooming compared to when she was a puppy. She fought with my hairdryer, leaving teeth marks on it. Her owner used to scold her " i beat you die die ". I find that phrase so funny. LOL

This is the Milo who hates his nails and ears done. see that cute little face, don't be deceive, he has an issue with grooming his left side body. Other than that, he is a sweet fella. I always force him to give me kisses coz he is so cute. love his face the most and that tongue also.

Sparky is allergic to most dog shampoo, so innovative grandma bath him with Chinese tea.When they do bath him with shampoo, he would go into a scratching frenzy. Ah ma always tell me she is so heart pain whenever he does that.

I have given him a couple different styles all these years. Puppy cut, schnauzer cut but due to his skin condition, it's better to be more comfortable for him to cut short. Ah ma also have an easier time grooming him. He gets flaky at his ears and body too.

I always look forward going to this client's house. Known them for 6 years now, sort of watch his owner grow up since she was 13 years old. Her grandma always make sure i got enough to eat..or else she would make juice or snack for me. Very heartwarming.

House call grooming really bring the relationship closer than working in the shop. I get time to play with the dogs before grooming, join the owner for lunch, gossip a little.. hahaha...

Sparky always give me a big welcome.

Especially those lonely old folks or maid who stay home with their pets all day, really look forward for me to drop by. They are so very nice to me, i'm so touched.. you know...thank you for making me feel so at home. Love you all soooo much!

3 mths old Noelle is having her very first full grooming. Took me 1.5 hr to complete. 45 min into grooming, after her bath and blow dry, she was so sleepy she fell asleep. Will be seeing her every 6 weeks since her mummy like to keep her short because she always mess up herself

He is helping me to wash the vegetable for salad while i cook spaghetti.At least something to keep him occupied while i cook. Papa working late so dinner is for aden and me.not making own pasta sauce this time coz not enough time so will make do with the instant kind. Anyway it taste good still and the best thing, my little brat ate his vege too because he prepared it.

7 month old bobby's facial hair is very black and messy. did a remaining 1 inch for easy maintainers. he is extremely good to work on. heard from his owner, bobby is a companion to his 80 years old mother who is rather senile and deaf, couldn't hear even when the car horn at her while crossing the road .I'm sure he bring lots of joy to their family. I do lots of shih tzu most of them are rather hyper at this age but not bobby. he temperaments just nice for seniors at home. Ahem.. no offense Milo you need to learn from bobby and also stop bullying boy boy also.

Hubby made happy meal out of play doh to amuse aden. There are fries, burger,coke, nuggets and a sundae! You are so clever baby, how about setting up a pasar malam stall to earn extra income.really thought you bought macdonald for us when our son came running to me asking"mummy, you want to eat happy meal?" Great job darling, i don't think i can make it as nice as you.

Her makeover shots is in the past grooming pics. kiki is the proud one whereas bobo is super friendly. i really like to groom cross breed because there is no standard breed cut and that leave me to do creative styles for them if the owners permit. kiki really hates her photo taken so i took a video to show you guys how much she dislike it. she is so hilarious,lah!

My DEAR hubby is fixing my video problem soon so hang on there.

Busy week for me., one more client before i start packing for trip.

Momo grow so fast! she is huge now. she doesn't need grooming much so whenever i'm there to groom the other dog, girl girl the poodle cross, i will just do Momo nails and paw pads.

next time if you are smitten by that cute little puppy u see at some construction side,u better know it will grow to Momo size.
